There are many examples of schools that charge students as much and as often as they can. There are many examples of educational/tutoring programs that are the same exact way without any regard to how the student actually does. This is time spent studying in ways that don’t promote any real kind of education. They focus on “tips, tricks and strategies” that will always force a student to plateau no matter how hard they work. We call these companies and programs a rip-off. Most people would just call them capitalistic. Either way, these are companies that once again, care about the money more than anything else.

CTC Tutors have gone through a very comprehensive training program teaching them the strategies we apply for test-taking and learning material. There is a very specific step-by-step process that can guarantee the highest score possible. Our CTC Tutors are fully trained for each step of the process and know exactly what they can do to help you the most during any given step. These tutors are paid the most, have gone through interviews, passed background checks, have had specific CTC training, and are all eligible for health care and benefits.
Rogue Tutors
Rogue Tutors are all tutors that have passed our application process but haven’t been trained or are guaranteed to follow our steps or processes. All tutors in our company start out as Rogue Tutors. These tutors all have the potential to become CTC Tutors but have not gone through any kind of training. They are less expensive and more affordable for students that need help but can’t afford a CTC Tutor.
Individual (1 on 1) sessions are 2 hours each
Individual sessions may end early or run late depending on whatever is best for the student. It is the responsibility of the tutor to adjust the timing to reflect how much you did or did not meet.
Group sessions (up to 10 students) are 2 hours each
Group sessions are given at a considerable discount with additional discounts awarded to any student that brings a friend or classmate. The friend or classmate is awarded the same discount for the same lesson.

At this time, the student needs to create an account and make a payment before the student and tutor can be connected directly. After the student has paid for the appropriate hours, then the tutor will be able to connect with the student so they can talk about and figure out an initial or weekly time to meet. The tutor is responsible for scheduling the session on the students calendar. The student can see their calendar through their own account page. They can see past, current, and future sessions, as well as the date of their exam. All online sessions are over zoom.
**The student can always contact a student liaison for any kind of problem with the tutor, program or website. As long as you have hours left, you can always decide to try a different kind of tutor based on your needs and what you’re looking for. The student can always buy more hours on their own through their account profile. We highly recommend the group packages so that lessons can be consistent, secured, have as much momentum as possible, and so that the student can save as much money as possible in the long run.

CTC Tutors vs Rogue Tutors
All potential tutors that apply and are accepted are immediately Rogue Tutors and are paid the rates given to Rogue Tutors. Rogue Tutors are not eligible for health insurance or any benefits. All Rogue Tutors are able to apply to become a CTC Tutor. They must submit an application to apply for a possible interview. There are many qualifications and qualities that we are looking for in any possible CTC Tutor. Honesty and transparency are paramount throughout the interview process.
Rogue Tutors that are applying may end up being accepted into the training program necessary to become a CTC Tutor. All Rogue tutors need to finish and pass this training in order to become a CTC Tutor. CTC Tutors are eligible for health care and benefits. MCAT
Overview & Logistics
The Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) is a multiple-choice, computer-based standardized exam required for admission to medical schools in the United States and Canada. It is administered approximately 25 times a year, from January through September. The cost to register is $315, while late registration costs $379.
The MCAT assesses knowledge in General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, General Biology, Biochemistry, Physics, Psychology, and Sociology. The full test takes a total of 7 hours and 33 minutes of seated time, including 6 hours and 15 minutes of active testing.
Scoring Insights
Each section of the MCAT is scored from 118 to 132, leading to a possible total score range between 472 and 528. Historically, less than 50% of test takers score below 499. The top 50% fall between 500 and 507, while the top 25% score between 508 and 513. A score between 514 and 528 places a test taker in the top 10% nationally.
Section Breakdown
The MCAT is divided into four sections:
- Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems – This section lasts 95 minutes and includes 59 questions (44 passage-based and 15 standalone). The content includes 30% General Chemistry, 25% Physics, 15% Organic Chemistry, 25% Biochemistry, and 5% Biology. A periodic table is provided during the test, but calculators are not allowed.
- Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills (CARS) – This section is 90 minutes long and contains 53 passage-based questions. It assesses reading comprehension and reasoning, similar to sections found on verbal exams.
- Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems – Also 95 minutes long with 59 questions (44 passage-based and 15 standalone), this section focuses on 65% Biology, 25% Biochemistry, and 5% each of General and Organic Chemistry.
- Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior – This final section is also 95 minutes long and includes 59 questions, equally split between passage-based and standalone. It evaluates understanding of behavior, mental health, and social sciences in a biological context.

NCLEX
The National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) is a multiple choice, computerized adaptive exam necessary to recieve a nursing license to practice as a nurse in the United States, Canada and Australia. It is offered year round and costs $200 to register for. When should I start getting help?
You should contact us as soon as you know you are planning to take the test. The sooner we can make a study plan and start preparing, the better. Even if we don’t get started right away, it’s good to figure out the best timing for things and what could be done to help you out the most.
How do I get started?
If you have any questions or if you are ready to start, you can contact us in any way you are comfortable with. We have an email, a voice mail number and a number that can be called during business hours. All that information can be found here. When you get in contact with a Student Liaison, they will learn about your situation and look through our Tutor Database to find the tutor that is the best match for you. In the mean time you are able to create your account and purchase hours to meet your tutor. The Student Liaison will connect you with your tutor that will then contact you personally to figure out the best time for your intial/weekly sessions.
Who are the tutors?
We allow anyone to apply from anywhere in the world. This means we have tutors that speak a wide variety of languages and come from a diverse set of backgrounds. We look at each potential tutor carefullyand consider each applicant in a case by case basis. We only hire tutors that we believe completely know their material and have a genuine passion for teaching.
What’s the difference between CTC Tutors and Rogue Tutors?
All tutors in our company start as Rogue Tutors. Rogue Tutors have passed our initial application process and the initial interview process. CTC Tutors have gone through a more advanced application process, as well as an extensive set of training courses. They are taught to follow our specific procedures and are trained to know the steps they can take to help stu-dents the most. Rogue Tutors are less expensive than CTC Tutors. They are instructed to follow certain steps but they are not trained or required to do everything that CTC Tutors can do. CTC Tutors are eligible for healthcare and benefits.
How does tutoring work?
Sessions are normally two hours. Tutors are instructed to do whatever is best for there students in all situations. If it helps the student to have a longer session, or a shorter session, the tutor is expected to do whatever will help the student the most. The tutor is in charge of keeping track of scheduling sessions, editting session times and submitting completed sessions. After a tutor submits a completed session, the hours from that sessions are deducted from the hours previously bought by the student.
Are tutoring sessions just reviewing questions?
Sessions are all different. What you do with the tutor will change each session depend-ing on where you are in your study plan.
What should iI expect from the first few sessions?
First that should happen is for your tutor to figure out where you are, your strengths, weaknesses, progresses, and hurdles so far. After that, a general study plan needs to be de-vised for the tutor and student to follow together. Every student is different so this can of course change. No matter what, the tutor is always instructed to do whatever is best for the student.
What kind of mindset should I have going into these sessions?
There are benefits to both memorizing and deeply understanding material. In general, tutors are instructed to help you learn material as much as possible. So that you can under-stand it and do any problems on your own. Every student is different so tutors are instructed to adapt and do whatever will make the student most comfortable and help them the most.
What materials will I need? What if I already have materials?
Your tutor will instruct you with the materials you will need. Any extra materials will be used to make sure that nothing is wasted. Anything that can be helpful should be utilized.
How often should I meet with my tutor?
Ideally, as much as possible, provided that the student has enough time to study and do any assigned homework. We want to move as fast as possible to save time, but we don’t want to rush a single step.
Am I going to have a lot of homework? How many hours should I study?
Your tutor will be instructing you with how much homework and studying you should be doing. How much is all dependent on your study plan and what stage you are on. In general, students being with very low amounts of homework with the occasion random research or ran-dom assignment. The tutor and student should be in the same page about how much home-work the student has and what/how much the student should be studying in between sessions.
How often should I take practice tests?
Depending on your situation, your tutor might ask you to do a diagnostics test. Other then than, you should not be doing practice tests. At least no where near the beginning of the learning process. Practice tests are extremely valuable and should be used to judge where you are in relation to the test. It’s not worth taking a practice test if you’re going to get things wrong and make mistakes we already know you’re going to make. We should fix all the mis-takes and get you to a place where you are suppose to know all the content. Then the student can start the phase of there study plan where they can do practice tests. This is generally the last step before taking the actual test.
I have trouble studying and need better study skills. Is that going to be a problem?
Our tutors are instructed to pay attention to any issues that could get in your way on test day. Having trouble studying or retain information is going to be detrimental for this entire process. Of course the tutor will be paying attention to this and helping you the best they can with your study skills.
I’m a terrible test taker, will this help at all with that?
Anything that can get in the way will be address. If you are a bad test taker, anxious, worried, stressed, tend to rush, can’t read the questions correctly, whatever it is, we will see it and we will need to address it. Transparency is important in every aspect of this process.
How many hours will I need in total?
That’s somewhat impossible to say. Even after getting to know you, Student Liaisons and Tutors can have a very impossible time trying to guess how many hours you will need in total. Everyone is different and we don’t know which subjects will be more difficult then others. Again, everyone is different and we intend to customize our approach to cater and help each student as much as possible. We will do our best to teach all the material and have no inten-tion to rush any step of this. That being said, some students have very limited time frames and need special study plans made for them. A study plan where compromises need to be made. IT is the Tutors job to know how to best utilize the limited hours you have and what you guys can do together that will help you out the most.
Can I eventually stop working with the tutor and just work on my own?
After your hours have run out, you are under no legal obligation to continue. You can add more hours before the session to see them more, change to a different tutor, or just decide you want to try working on your own. Believe it or not, our over all goal is so that you can do all these problems and material by yourself. We want to teach you how to approach problems, take tests, how to best study and eventually be able to do everything you need to do on your own. We strongly believe in transparency. That goes in every direction. We want you to see yourself as well as your Tutor does. Your strengths, weaknesses, and exactly where you are. The Tutor will be doing their best to teach you any material you don’t know and help you learn how to study and absorb material on your own. You might need the Tutors help for different subjects or sections that you haven’t seen yet. At least with the program taught to the CTC Tu-tors, there is a something very productive to learn and do every step of the process. No matter how the tutor customizes the study plan, every session should be as helpful as possible to the student.
When will I be ready?
If the Tutor is doing their job, that is something that should be very clear to both of you. You should have a strong projection based off the study plan and your current progress thus far. With the specific CTC process taught, your level understand would be very clear and where you stand would be obviously each step of the way, as it should be.
How does payment work?
Payment must be made through your registered account before any sessions with a tu-tor can be scheduled. Students may purchase Individual Hours, Sessions, and Classes, and Group Packages.
Tutoring isn’t cheap, why and how can this be worth it?
This companies main priority is to help its students as much as possible. Everyone hired will hopefully reflect that sentiment. Not only can we teach you material in a way that guaran-tees you truly understand it, but you also learn a lot of additional skills, subjects, and strategies that can help greatly beyond just this test. After the test you will be able to understand and ap-ply the information at the proper professional level.
Is there a Cancellation policy?
48 hour notice for cancellation for a full refund or 50% with shorter notice.
What are typical results?
Results vary form test to test and person to person. Some students have a good score and just want to get those last few points up. Other students need to learn alot of material for the first time, which can be very draining or difficult depending on the subject. There is a lot more room for the latter type of student to grow compared to the first one. That being said. It is relatively easy for our tutors to get either perfects or near perfect on the TEAS, NCLEX and MCAT (depending on the type of tutor).
Do students ever not improve?
The only reason that any students progress would be halted would be because they are not listening to the instructions given to them by their tutor. As long as the student is opening minded and wants to genuinely learn and is genuinely trying their best,they will move forward.
Are there any guarantees the website can make?
We can guarantee the highest score they ever got before when at least doin g practice tests.
